Preparation of the equipment
What you will learn in this course:
This course will take place in groups of up to 4 people, the duration is 2 days where you will learn the water-start and surf your first couple of meters ….. now the fun beginns!!!!
- Characteristics of 4 and 5-line kites
- Aerodynamic and structural differences between bow-, delta- and C-kite
- Simulation of water-start on the ground for postural correction
- Techniques of water-start and surfing
- Water-start
- Water-start and surfing for 150m in both directions
- Surfing in a correct position
- Surfing downwind
- Surfing up-wind
- Surfing so the you can return to your starting position
- Riding upwind going back to the start point
- Easily recollecting the board whilst body-draging in both directions
- Speed control
- Changing the direction without falling back into the water
- Trying the various emergency systems
